We believe good nutrition is critical for a child’s physical, mental, and emotional development. Schools play an important role in providing healthy environments that help students establish healthy eating and exercise habits that will follow them throughout their lives.   In order to maximize the District’s ability to provide nutritious meals and snacks, the district participates in the National Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

The My School Menus app now displays Gold Trail’s and Sutter’s Mill’s school menus right in the palm of your hand. With just a few taps on your phone you can see menus, photos, nutritional values, and components for individual items and meals. Families can use the app to help plan out their meals for the upcoming week. You can even filter menu items out by selected allergens. This app is loaded with information that allows for managing calories, carbs and many other nutrients that are in your school meals. This is a great tool for parents and students who care about their eating habits. This app can be an awesome teaching tool for parents and teachers by helping students pick the entrees and meals right for them. Check out these features:
